TL;DR
Mid-Level Security Manager and Facility Security Officer (FSO) (Cybersecurity): Managing security programs and facility security operations for a U.S. Navy weapons engineering and program acquisition support contract with an accent on classified information protection, NISPOM compliance, and personnel clearance processes. Focus on drafting program security documentation, investigating incidents, coordinating with DCSA, and administering insider threat controls.

Location: Arlington, VA, United States; 100% on-site and in-office. Hybrid and remote work are not available.

What you will do

  • Manage program security for a U.S. Navy weapons engineering and program acquisition support contract.
  • Draft and review DD254s, Program Protection Plans, Security Classification Guides, Risk Acceptance Letters, and Emergency Action Plans.
  • Review OEM security procedures, evaluate contract security requirements, and verify compliance with security checklists.
  • Investigate security incidents with the government Security Integrated Product Team, document root causes, and implement corrective measures.
  • Lead facility security operations across several DC-area facilities, including classified material safeguarding and clearance maintenance.
  • Coordinate personnel clearance submissions, security training, DCSA reviews, incident reporting, visit requests, and the corporate Insider Threat Program.

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret clearance required.
  • At least 7 years of experience in security for national defense programs.
  • Experience with classified and sensitive material accountability, transmission, safeguarding, and authorized destruction.
  • Ability to manage NISPOM compliance, personnel security processes, security briefings, and incident reporting.
  • Ability to work fully on-site in Arlington, Virginia.

Nice to have

  • DCSA CDSE FSO certification (ISO30.CU).
  • At least 2 years of experience in security for Navy programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
