Project Safety Manager (Construction)

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of safety professionals.
• Define project-level safety roles and procedures with project staff and subcontractor representatives.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings, jobsite inspections, orientations, and training sessions.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal construction safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
• Maintain safety records and use Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, and CMiC to manage documentation and data.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of progressive experience in construction safety, including leadership or management responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA 29 CFR 1926.
• BCSP CHST certification or a higher designation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is desired, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with construction technologies and software such as Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, and CMiC is preferred.
