Cloud Network Engineer, Software Support (AWS)

What you will do

• Set up AWS VPCs, subnets, security groups, route tables, and related compute resources for customer environments.
• Create, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot site-to-site VPN tunnels using IKE/IPsec, Virtual Private Gateway, and Customer Gateway settings.
• Manage Route 53 hosted zones, DNS records, TTLs, onboarding and offboarding changes, and DNS resolution incidents.
• Configure internal, inter-VPC, static, and BGP routing, including SNAT over VPN tunnels for overlapping network ranges.
• Diagnose connectivity and network-path issues using traceroute, packet captures, tcpdump, and Wireshark.
• Support customers through phone and email, coordinate with customer IT teams, document incidents, and escalate network-layer issues within SLA.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with AWS networking, including VPC, VPN, and Route 53.
• Hands-on experience creating and troubleshooting site-to-site VPNs and configuring SNAT/NAT over VPN tunnels.
• CCNA or equivalent networking foundation is required.
• Experience working with customer IT teams and security teams on infrastructure compliance.
• Windows Server patching experience and availability for shifting operations, weekend schedules, and on-call support.

Nice to have

• Cloud networking experience beyond the core AWS requirements.
• Experience with DataDog, SolarWinds, Prometheus, or PRTG.
