Electrical Engineer / Board Designer (Avionics)

Location: Endicott, New York, United States; U.S. citizenship required

Salary: $73,923.20–$131,331.20 USD per year

What you will do

• Develop electrical product designs and test methods for avionics applications.
• Perform or define complex tests to evaluate products, equipment, and processes.
• Review and analyze engineering data to determine requirements and meet project objectives.
• Plan and coordinate the resources required to complete assignments.
• Resolve significant design, process, and evaluation issues with customers, vendors, and internal personnel.
• Coordinate engineering support with other company departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of related experience.
• Experience with computer-aided design, preferably Mentor Graphics PADS or an equivalent tool.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• No certifications or security clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Background in fiber-optic communications.
• Familiarity with C, C#, FPGA, or Python.
