Principal Architect (AI)

Location: Remote, but must be located in Dallas, TX or Louisville, KY

Salary: $172,200–$236,900 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead the architecture and development of a scalable, portable, resilient digital platform ecosystem using cloud-native and cloud-agnostic principles.
• Guide automation, self-service, reusable design patterns, governance, security, privacy, and compliance adoption.
• Drive the architecture and adoption of AI, ML, and generative AI technologies for personalized, context-aware digital experiences.
• Lead architecture practices across sales, marketing, and digital channels, including web, mobile, and omnichannel experiences.
• Design secure enterprise web and mobile applications, search functionality, and integrations across front-end, microservices, and database technologies.
• Lead architects, define technology strategy and roadmaps, and influence enterprise-wide standards and transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 10+ years of management experience in a related IT field.
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience in architecture, engineering, information security, or a related technology field.
• 5+ years of project or people leadership, including technical leadership of Lead and Senior Architects.
• 3–5 years of cloud computing experience, cloud technology certifications, and experience with multiple public cloud providers.
• 5+ years of platform implementation and transformation experience, including large-scale enterprise systems and cloud migrations.
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns, digital experience strategy, enterprise applications, security, and scalable cloud-based solutions.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Cloud Solutions Architect certifications, with Azure preferred.
• Experience with Adobe and Akamai web content and publishing services.
• Experience with agile practices and personalized web and mobile architectures.
