Solution Architect (Finance, Risk and Investments)

Location: Hybrid, three days a week at a Guardian location in Stamford, CT; Holmdel, NJ; New York, NY; or Bethlehem, PA

Salary: $118,980–$195,465 annual base pay, with potential eligibility for additional incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Own product- and team-level solution design and delivery architecture within a value stream.
• Design and document application, integration, data, and infrastructure architectures.
• Partner with Product Owners, Tech Leads, delivery teams, Enterprise Architecture, and platform teams on roadmaps, MVP scope, trade-offs, and enterprise patterns.
• Lead proof-of-concepts, provide hands-on technical guidance, and mentor engineers on architecture and problem solving.
• Identify dependencies and impediments, simplify designs, reduce technical debt, and improve delivery efficiency.
• Support major-impact production incidents affecting business operations.

Requirements

• Strong experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, data integration, and modern application architectures.
• Experience designing hybrid architectures spanning on-premises applications and public cloud services.
• Experience working in Agile and product-based delivery models.
• Experience architecting large-scale, business-critical systems in the insurance domain.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
