Process Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Blacksburg, Virginia, United States

Salary: $65,000–$80,000 annually

What you will do

• Manage projects involving manufacturing, automation, quality, continuous improvement, and 5S.
• Support slip ring production departments and outsource vendors.
• Develop manufacturing processes with domestic and international teams.
• Order and support tooling, work instructions, labor standards, facility layouts, and manufacturing quotes.
• Review new-order requests for quotation and conduct mechanical and electrical design reviews for manufacturability.
• Support technical problem-solving teams, supplier discussions, performance reporting, and cross-training across product lines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
• Engineering experience is preferred.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Experience communicating with internal and external customers, coworkers, suppliers, and other business disciplines.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to work onsite in Blacksburg, Virginia.
