Staff Product Engineer (BMS)

Location: Plano, Texas, United States; onsite, with remote work not available

What you will do

• Lead qualification and reliability activities for new BMS IC products in line with AEC-Q100 requirements.
• Develop characterization, validation, reliability, and high-volume manufacturing test plans.
• Analyze product data statistically to monitor processes, optimize yield, and define test limits.
• Support APQP activities, including FMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP documentation.
• Drive ISO 26262 functional safety activities, including safety mechanism validation and fault injection testing.
• Lead cross-functional failure analysis, customer-return investigations, 8D problem solving, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant product or test engineering experience with automotive semiconductor ICs.
• Extensive experience with BMS ICs or similar automotive power or analog ICs.
• Deep knowledge of AEC-Q100, APQP, PPAP, and ISO 26262.
• Strong understanding of IC fabrication, assembly, testing, and statistical analysis methods.
• Excellent communication, technical leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
