Product Quality & Reliability Engineer IV (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; travel to supplier sites in the USA and Asia may be required for approximately 20% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

Salary: $133,500–$183,500 per year

What you will do

• Lead multiple quality engineering and reliability engineering projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Apply Design For Reliability methods to new product development and complete reliability analyses.
• Plan reliability validation tests and drive 8D and failure analysis projects to successful solutions.
• Evaluate materials, properties, design techniques, and manufacturing processes used by hirify.global and its suppliers.
• Perform FMECA, develop CRAMS test plans, and lead Part Qualification Processes at supplier sites.
• Analyze non-conformance and failure-rate data, review Engineering Change Requests, and prepare management reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Experience in quality and reliability engineering with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering, component qualification, manufacturing quality, and failure analysis.
• Knowledge of Design For Reliability and electromechanical components.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and leadership skills for influencing cross-functional solutions.
• Ability to travel to supplier sites in the USA and Asia.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Reliability, or a related field.
• Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Reliability Engineer qualification.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Semiconductor capital equipment experience.
