Field Service Technician (Cryogenic Systems)

Location: Orlando, FL, United States; frequent local travel within two hours of home and occasional overnight travel required

What you will do

• Support installation and service of cryogenic bulk gas delivery systems at hirify.global facilities and customer sites.
• Repair and maintain cryogenic pumps, pressure reduction equipment, electrical systems, compressors, and related installations.
• Determine vaporizer sizes, identify equipment, and coordinate piping installation according to industry standards and company procedures.
• Conduct site surveys, coordinate permits, and perform operational due diligence during acquisitions and inspections.
• Maintain equipment records, perform preventive maintenance, manage spare-parts inventory, and report results.
• Follow OSHA, FDA, ISO, NFPA, and hirify.global safety requirements.

Requirements

• Constant availability for 68–100% of work time, frequent local travel, occasional overnight travel, and occasional overtime are required.
• Ability to work independently under pressure, meet deadlines, collaborate effectively, and communicate clearly.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, time-management, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least two years of industrial field service experience, ideally with gas generation systems, preferred.
• Experience with cryogenic equipment, pressure piping, compressors, welding, brazing, technical documents, blueprints, and applicable regulations preferred.

Nice to have

• Understanding of NFPA 99 and NFPA 50 requirements.
• Ability to obtain a Certified Brazing Certificate within 30 days and Medical Installation Certification within 120 days.
• Experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or welding.
• Basic knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, Presentations, and Calendar.
