Safety Coordinator

Location: West Chester, Ohio, United States; onsite, full time

hirify.global operates through Harmon, Inc., where the role supports safe execution of onsite construction and manufacturing projects.

What you will do

• Own safety planning and verify site startup requirements before project mobilization, including safety plans, incident response materials, medical response resources, silica plans, SDSs, and JHAs.
• Conduct corporate and onsite safety audits, review findings with leaders, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain records for inspections, accident investigations, employee training, and compliance reporting.
• Coordinate PPE, safety equipment, supplies, inspections, repairs, and removal of failed equipment.
• Manage incident reporting and investigations, determine root causes, and support preventive corrective actions.
• Track safety metrics, support employee safety questions, and maintain relationships with client site safety representatives.

Requirements

• High school education.
• At least two years of workers’ compensation experience.
• Proficient understanding of OSHA standards, rules, and guidelines.
• Ability to coordinate OSHA 10 and 30 training and training for certified, qualified, and competent personnel.
• Ability to work onsite in West Chester, Ohio, and collaborate with project and safety leadership.
