Senior Systems Engineering Manager (DoD)

Location: On-site in Oklahoma City, United States; US citizenship required. No visa support or C2C.

What you will do

• Lead the Systems Engineering, Integration and Test organization across architecture, requirements, integration, verification, validation, qualification, and delivery.
• Manage a multidisciplinary engineering team, including staffing, workload planning, performance management, mentoring, and professional development.
• Lead MBSE implementation and maintain alignment between system models, requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and technical baselines.
• Develop and execute integration and test strategies, procedures, readiness activities, discrepancy resolution, and verification closure.
• Prepare engineering plans and technical readiness for SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR, TRR, and other customer reviews.
• Manage engineering scope, budget, schedule, risks, suppliers, technical dependencies, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of professional engineering experience supporting complex systems, aerospace, defense, training systems, or related technical programs.
• 5+ years of technical leadership, engineering management, or multidisciplinary team leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience with systems engineering, integration and test, requirements management, system architecture, interface management, verification, and validation.
• Experience as a Control Account Manager with strong knowledge of EVMS, work packages, ETC, EAC, cost and schedule variance analysis, and Integrated Master Schedules.
• US citizenship and eligibility for a DoD Security Clearance are required; active DoD Secret clearance or higher is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with DoD aerospace, simulation, mission systems, or training systems programs.
• Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler or an equivalent MBSE tool.
• Experience with Integrated Baseline Reviews, supplier technical management, and qualification or acceptance of integrated hardware/software systems.
• INCOSE CSEP/ESEP, PMP, or similar professional certification.
