Senior Systems Engineer (MBSE)

Location: On-site in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States; occasional travel may be required.

What you will do

• Lead the application of Model-Based Systems Engineering methodologies to define, develop, and maintain system architectures.
• Oversee requirements development, baselines, end-to-end traceability, and resolution of complex requirements issues.
• Lead system design and integration, including trade studies and decisions addressing performance, reliability, maintainability, and safety.
• Direct verification strategies, validation plans, and test activities demonstrating compliance with system requirements.
• Guide specifications, interface control documents, and test artifacts to meet program, DoD, and customer standards.
• Coordinate with software, hardware engineering, program management, customers, and stakeholders while mentoring junior and mid-level engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of professional systems engineering experience focused on MBSE, requirements management, and architecture development.
• Expert proficiency with Cameo Systems Modeler or an equivalent MBSE tool, including experience leading large, integrated models.
• US Citizenship and eligibility for a DoD security clearance are required.
• An active DoD Secret clearance or higher is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with DoD acquisition processes, lifecycle management, and air vehicle integration.
• Background in simulation, modeling, and digital engineering frameworks.
• Experience leading teams in Agile development environments.
• Direct experience interfacing with DoD customers and presenting technical solutions at program reviews.
