Manufacturing Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Greater Seattle Area (On-site)

Salary: $180,000 – $210,000 annually

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end manufacturing process for turbopump hardware, from DfM to final assembly.
• Define build processes, including routings, work instructions, and inspection plans.
• Manage assembly floor operations such as rotor balancing, torque control, and clearance verification.
• Design and procure tooling and fixtures for machining and assembly.
• Lead nonconformance disposition, rework development, and root cause analysis.
• Scale production processes from first article to repeatable high-rate manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or related engineering field.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual (ITAR compliance).
• Strong knowledge of precision machining, GD&T, and dimensional inspection (CMM).
• Hands-on experience with build and assembly processes on the floor.
• Experience dispositioning nonconforming hardware and developing rework scopes.
• 8+ years of experience in precision mechanical, rotating, or propulsion hardware preferred.
