Safety Manager (Construction)

Location: Austin, United States; onsite construction projects

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of safety professionals.
• Define project-level safety roles and procedures with project staff and subcontractor representatives.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings, jobsite inspections, orientations, and employee training.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, document root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal construction safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
• Maintain safety documentation and use Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, and CMiC to manage safety data.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of progressive experience in construction safety with leadership and management responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA 29 CFR 1926.
• BCSP CHST designation or a higher certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, and CMiC is preferred.
