Lead Plant Operator (NIGHT) (Dry Ice)

Location: Hopewell, Virginia, United States; onsite night shift, scheduled 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

What you will do

• Load, weigh, and package dry ice products, including blocks, pellets, and slices, according to customer orders.
• Inspect finished products for weight, density, and packaging integrity.
• Operate production machinery, forklifts, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Record production numbers, shipping manifests, and inventory usage accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility and support a safe production environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; GED preferred.
• Ability to perform arithmetic with whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to calculate rates, ratios, proportions, commissions, and percentages.
• Ability to routinely lift and manipulate dry ice blocks weighing 5–60 pounds.
• Ability to stand, stoop, crouch, and bend and to work safely in a noisy environment with CO2 vapor.

Nice to have

• One year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
