What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day operation and maintenance of a 3,600 mTon/day ammonia plant, a 70,000-metric-ton ammonia storage tank, and associated pipelines.
• Supervise and develop a team of 10–12 plant operators while supporting employee engagement, safety, and inclusion.
• Lead root cause investigations, resolve operational issues, and implement practices that improve asset safety and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with operating procedures, global safety standards, preventive maintenance, environmental targets, and OSHA PSM regulations.
• Coordinate ammonia pipeline and storage-tank interfaces, projects, turnaround planning, contractors, budgets, and SAP pay-data processing.
• Serve temporarily as Emergency Coordinator for storage-tank incidents and support emergency management activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience safely operating refrigerated storage tanks; ammonia, LNG, or other cryogenic liquid storage experience is desired.
• Experience with management of change processes, emergency management, EH&S, environmental protection, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, leadership, and continuous-improvement skills.
• Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP business systems.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship; must possess or be able to obtain a TWIC card.
