Project Finance & Infrastructure - Analyst / Senior Analyst (NY)

Location: New York, New York, United States; hybrid schedule with office attendance Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Annual base salary: $80,000–$110,000

What you will do

• Support new rating assignments and ongoing surveillance across energy and power, transportation, digital infrastructure, and social infrastructure sectors.
• Analyze project cash flows, financial statements, debt and financing structures, and contractual arrangements.
• Review project finance models and perform base-case, sensitivity, and downside stress analyses.
• Prepare quantitative and qualitative analysis for credit memos and publications.
• Develop and maintain financial models, analytical tools, spreadsheets, and ratings data.
• Monitor portfolio performance, update credit factors, and identify emerging risks and trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, mathematics, business, or another quantitatively focused field.
• Approximately 0–3 years of relevant experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, credit analysis, banking, investing, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, including reviewing, constructing, and modifying project finance cash-flow models.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple analytical assignments and collaborate across disciplines.

Nice to have

• Relevant project finance experience.
• Progress toward the CFA designation or another relevant professional qualification.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and productivity.
