Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Muscatine, Iowa, United States; onsite at the Muscatine Factory; second shift

New hire base salary: $77,800–$97,300 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Lead second-shift production operations and drive productivity, efficiency, customer service, cost, quality, safety, and employee engagement objectives.
• Provide direction, leadership, development, and support to direct reports through empowerment, teamwork, assignments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead, motivate, and mentor large teams of hourly associates.
• Develop, implement, and promote safety programs and safe work practices through plant safety teams and initiatives.
• Maintain effective employee and labor relations by building a qualified department organization.
• Support cross-functional initiatives and work overtime when required by business needs.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor large teams of hourly associates.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong accountability, consistency, and follow-through.
• Ability to work effectively with plant personnel ranging from hourly employees to senior management.

Nice to have

• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
