Data Protection - Data Discovery & Remediation Senior Lead (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Drive compliance with data protection policies, standards, technology risk controls, and prioritized remediation plans.
• Develop and administer scalable, performant, fault-tolerant detective controls and data protection solutions.
• Lead application risk reviews and assessments, using threat modeling to identify security risks and define treatment activities.
• Provide information security expertise for cloud applications and core technology across Azure, AWS, SaaS, and on-premise environments.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture, application teams, business stakeholders, and other technology functions to deliver pragmatic security solutions.
• Review documentation and processes, recommending automation and improvements while maintaining accurate and auditable security requirements.

Requirements

• Broad information security and security architecture experience, including hands-on design and delivery of technology solutions.
• Experience in technology risk, security risk consulting, information security, IT audit, incident management, or security analysis.
• Extensive cloud security experience in hybrid environments and secure software development lifecycle design.
• Experience conducting architecture reviews and evaluating application and infrastructure risks with threat modeling methods such as STRIDE.
• Experience developing and implementing detective controls using regular expressions and related techniques.
• Practical information security expertise across M365, Azure, AWS, BigID, Defender, Azure DevOps, Azure IaaS, SaaS, Oracle, Windows, and Linux environments.

Nice to have

• CRISC, CISM, CISA, CISSP, AWS Certified Security, or comparable technical qualifications.
