Sr Security Engineer (Cybersecurity): Developing and implementing security controls, processes, and technical solutions for enterprise and product cloud environments with an accent on cloud security, threat detection, penetration testing, and zero-trust architecture. Focus on automating security activities across Azure, AWS, and GCP, assessing high-availability systems, and strengthening security posture through vulnerability analysis and secure design.

What you will do

  • Identify risks to confidentiality, integrity, and availability and define appropriate mitigations.
  • Automate and improve security and control activities using Azure, AWS, GCP, and cloud-agnostic tooling.
  • Develop and administer security tools for threat detection, prevention, analysis, scanning, and reporting.
  • Perform technical security assessments, including static and dynamic analysis, threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
  • Design and implement security controls, zero-trust patterns, IAM solutions, and secure processes.
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Site Reliability Engineering, Operations, Security Architecture, and GRC teams on secure technical solutions and standards.

Requirements

  • 5 years of progressive responsibility in a security organization.
  • 2–6 years of relevant security engineering or network security experience.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with high-availability enterprise production environments and technical security controls.
  • Scripting experience in languages such as Go, Rust, Python, or Ruby, including automation and process improvement.
  • Hands-on knowledge of security and networking architecture, cloud infrastructure, vulnerability testing, and penetration testing tools.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Big-IP, CentOS, Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, HashiCorp Vault, Palo Alto, Cisco, or Qualys.
  • Exposure to DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, infrastructure as code, and tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, or Git.
