Cybersecurity Engineer (AI)

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid work with at least 50% of each quarter spent in the office or in the field

Base salary: €70,200–€105,400 per year, with potential bonus and annual stock grants.

What you will do

• Embed secure-by-design and secure-by-default practices across development teams.
• Support threat modeling activities across the software development community.
• Assess system architectures and recommend security controls and improvements for new and existing services.
• Develop, deploy, and support security-specific solutions and automate repeatable security tasks.
• Partner with service, product, and technology teams to advance security initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior security engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, software engineering, or public cloud platform engineering.
• 2+ years of experience with public cloud technologies, automation, and cloud-native applications; GCP and/or AWS experience is preferred.
• Deep understanding of authentication, authorization, role-based access control, encryption, and penetration testing.
• Practical knowledge of enterprise application development and developer workflows.
• Proficiency in at least one modern application or systems programming language, such as Java, C++, C#, Scala, Go, Rust, or Python.
• Experience securing agentic AI tools and systems, progressing workstreams, and communicating with security and development teams.
