Remote Healthcare Senior Project Manager (PMO)

Location: Remote, but candidates must currently reside in Texas; some travel may be required, up to 30%.

What you will do

• Oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing management of high-priority strategic, transformational, foundational, and operational projects.
• Define project scope, deliverables, goals, risks, blockers, decisions, success measures, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements with stakeholders.
• Manage projects against scope, budget, schedule, quality, and legally binding requirements.
• Create project charters, schedules, budgets, status reports, control procedures, and other communication artifacts.
• Lead status review meetings with internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, customers, executives, operational leaders, and providers.
• Identify, escalate, and resolve technical and operational risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Management, or a related field; alternatively, an associate degree plus four years of related experience, or a high school diploma plus eight years of related experience.
• At least five years of experience as a Project Manager managing scope, timelines, profitability, and delivery of products or services.
• Experience managing customer-facing and internally facing products or services.
• PMI or PMP certification, or a similar certification from an accredited organization.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with standard word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
• Strong project management, communication, facilitation, analytical, problem-solving, requirements, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with waterfall and agile project management frameworks.
• Willingness to mentor junior team members and share knowledge.
