Director of Corporate Technology Operations and Strategic Programs

Location: Burbank, California, USA; five days per week in the office with up to three flexible remote days per month

Base pay range: $230,000–$240,000 per year, with potential additional discretionary bonuses or incentives.

What you will do

• Manage daily operations, support, workflows, reports, and business processes for corporate technology systems.
• Serve as a primary business contact for Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Underwriting, Operations, Data Science, Legal, IT, and other stakeholders.
• Own issue intake, prioritization, enhancement backlogs, support requests, testing plans, release activities, and resolution tracking.
• Coordinate vendors and internal technology partners, including SLA monitoring, escalations, access changes, testing, releases, and production rollouts.
• Support strategic initiatives involving AI, automation, analytics, system modernization, process improvement, acquisitions, development, reporting, and property systems.
• Prepare business cases, roadmap updates, implementation plans, decision documents, risk summaries, and steering committee materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in business systems, corporate technology, technology operations, program management, transformation, consulting, analytics, or a related field.
• Experience managing or supporting business-critical systems used by cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of REIT workflows and experience working with business users, vendors, data teams, finance, accounting, and senior stakeholders.
• Strong issue triage, prioritization, requirements documentation, follow-up coordination, and resolution-driving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level updates and user-facing documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience in self-storage, retail, industrial, multifamily, REIT, or another multi-site real estate operating environment.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, BigQuery/GCP, BI tools, CMMS/work order systems, lease administration tools, underwriting tools, workflow tools, or real estate data platforms.
• Experience with AI tools, automation, conversational analytics, document abstraction, workflow automation, data-driven decision support, or analytics platforms.
