Maintenance Shop Tech C (Diesel Maintenance)

Location: Grand Junction, Colorado, USA; onsite maintenance shop role

Pay range: $21.90–$30.07 per hour, depending on locality

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks under direct supervision.
• Conduct vehicle inspections, adjustments, oil changes, and fluid replenishment.
• Complete light repairs, including tire changes and basic electrical work such as light replacement.
• Use maintenance tools to identify potential equipment issues and malfunction sources.
• Complete applicable company training and other assigned job-related duties.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Nice to have

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program.
• ASE T8 Preventive Maintenance certification.
