Maintenance Technician

Location: Wichita, Kansas, United States. Onsite, Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-3:30 pm.

Salary: $16-$18 per hour.

What you will do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment across electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, janitorial equipment, and vehicle-related systems.
• Perform routine, predictive, and preventive maintenance on floor equipment, scrubbers, vacuums, extractors, and related machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete repairs using hand and power tools.
• Apply Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and work safely in industrial environments.
• Maintain clean work areas, maintenance logs, and schedules.
• Respond to service requests and communicate technical issues professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.

Requirements

• At least six months of company-environment experience or equivalent training in plumbing, painting, HVAC, construction, or a related area.
• At least two years of electrical experience.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, scissor lifts, ladders, and scaffolding.
• Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds and complete required safety, environmental, task training, and certifications.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• A valid driver's license and forklift or electric pallet jack certification may be required.

Nice to have

• Soldering and welding experience.
