Project Finance & Infrastructure - Director / Senior Director (NY)

Location: New York, New York, United States; hybrid schedule with office attendance Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Annual base salary: $140,000–$250,000.

What you will do

• Lead complex new rating assignments and ongoing surveillance across renewable energy, conventional power, transportation, digital infrastructure, social infrastructure, and public-private partnerships.
• Oversee analysis of project cash flows, financial models, transaction structures, legal and contractual frameworks, and technical considerations.
• Challenge sponsor models and develop independent analytical cases, sensitivities, and downside stress scenarios.
• Assess construction, operational, counterparty, regulatory, market, refinancing, and other material project risks.
• Develop rating recommendations, lead rating committee discussions, and oversee rating-related publications.
• Provide sector leadership, develop methodologies and research, represent hirify.global at industry events, and mentor analytical staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Senior-level experience leading project finance and infrastructure rating assignments and portfolio surveillance.
• Expertise in financial modeling, credit analysis, transaction structures, and project risk assessment.
• Ability to lead rating committees, interact with issuers, sponsors, lenders, investors, and financial advisors, and produce analytical recommendations.
• Experience developing rating methodologies, analytical frameworks, sector research, and market commentary.
• Experience mentoring analysts and contributing to recruiting, training, and strategic initiatives.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and productivity.
