Director - Corporate Finance

Location: Chicago, IL, USA; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $156,700–$250,700 per year, plus potential bonus, commission, or incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Develop global strategies to optimize capital structure and reduce financing costs.
• Manage the debt portfolio, including an ABL credit facility and secured and unsecured debt.
• Evaluate financing opportunities in banking and capital markets, including debt issuances, repurchases, and liability management transactions.
• Evaluate and hedge interest rate and foreign exchange exposures and manage related derivatives and ISDA documentation.
• Partner with tax and local finance teams on organizational structure and repatriation strategies, as well as equipment financing and leasing alternatives.
• Prepare analyses and presentations for rating agencies, the Board of Directors, investors, and financial reporting stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; an MBA with a finance concentration is preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressively responsible finance experience, including at least 5 years of corporate treasury experience with a multinational company.
• Experience negotiating and closing financing transactions.
• Experience with foreign exchange hedging and execution.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and project management skills.
