Director, Strategic Finance & Investor Relations

Location: Hybrid in New York, NY or San Francisco, CA

Salary: $200,000–$275,000 annually for Bay Area hires; $190,000–$262,000 annually for New York City hires. Compensation may vary by work location.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end quarterly earnings process, including press releases, supplemental financial information, executive scripts, investor decks, Q&A preparation, and validation.
• Partner with the CFO and senior leadership on guidance, share-count forecasting, sensitivity ranges, and public-market communications.
• Manage relationships with sell-side analysts and institutional investors, including analyst callbacks, conferences, one-on-ones, investor visits, and Investor Day.
• Prepare the CEO, CFO, and senior executives for investor interactions with briefings, talking points, and Q&A materials.
• Develop investor-relations collateral and lead strategic finance projects such as peer benchmarking, long-range modeling, competitive analysis, and executive financial analyses.
• Build analytical infrastructure and advance AI-native tooling and automation across the IR function.

Requirements

• 10+ years of combined experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, FP&A, corporate finance, or equity investing.
• Deep knowledge of public-company reporting, financial statements, capital markets, valuation, and SaaS or consumption-based revenue models.
• Advanced financial modeling skills, including operating models, dilution forecasts, guidance sensitivity analyses, and consensus benchmarks.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including drafting in senior executives’ voices and explaining complex financial concepts clearly.
• Experience handling confidential information with sound judgment and understanding of materiality, fair disclosure, and Reg FD.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

• Background in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, or AI.
• Relationships with infrastructure or software sell-side analysts and institutional investors.
• MBA, CFA, or CPA.
