Electrical Engineering Studio Leader

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; four days in the office each week, with flexibility to work outside the office on Fridays.

What you will do

• Lead the operations, execution, and strategic direction of the Dallas electrical engineering practice.
• Develop operational plans covering staffing, scheduling, team objectives, resource planning, and workload balancing.
• Direct engineers, designers, consultants, and vendors across multiple projects.
• Lead the design of electrical building systems from concept through construction administration.
• Oversee engineering calculations, electrical layouts, reports, specifications, and technical narratives.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, and multidisciplinary teams while supporting proposals, client interviews, recruiting, mentoring, and business development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer licensure in Texas, or the ability to obtain it through reciprocity.
• 10–12+ years of experience designing electrical building systems on complex projects.
• Experience leading engineering teams, mentoring technical staff, and managing multiple projects.
• Experience with specification writing, construction administration, multidisciplinary coordination, scheduling, and client relationships.
• Working knowledge of Revit, AGi32, and SKM PowerTools, plus experience in consulting engineering or A/E firms.

• LEED Accredited Professional credentials.
• Experience with high-performance and sustainable building design.
• Strong understanding of architecture and engineering integration.
