Financial Accountant (EMEA)

Location: Dublin City Centre, Ireland — hybrid office-based role

Riot Games develops games and player experiences, including League of Legends and other player-facing products.

What you will do

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, monthly reporting packages, and discrepancy resolution.
• Drive year-end financial processes, coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors and supporting sign-off on local financial statements.
• Manage compliance for Riot subsidiary companies across EMEA in collaboration with Talent, Legal, Treasury, and other teams.
• Research unusual transactions and determine appropriate accounting treatment with the accounting team.
• Maintain monthly reporting schedules, investigate account fluctuations, and monitor financial trends.
• Provide exploratory analyses and ad hoc reporting to answer finance-related questions and support business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification such as ACA or an equivalent qualification.
• Ability to create reports and analyses using Excel and accounting software such as Oracle.
• Audit training at a Big Four or mid-tier firm.
• High attention to detail, analytical skills, and fact-driven communication.
• Ability to work from the Dublin City Centre office on a hybrid basis.

Nice to have

• Post-qualification experience or month-end reporting experience.
• Experience coordinating year-end audits, tax advisors, and local financial statement sign-off.
• Payroll experience.
