Dealer Receivables Collector

What you will do

• Manage and prioritize a portfolio of 400+ dealership receivable accounts and invoices.
• Conduct outbound collection efforts by phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Own accounts from invoice creation through final resolution with consistent follow-up.
• Recover funds related to ancillary products, dealer reserves, cancellations, early payoffs, repossessions, and total losses.
• Investigate discrepancies, process cancellation requests, and respond to refund-related inquiries.
• Document account activity, monitor aging, and collaborate with Sales, Dealer Relations, and Operations to meet collection targets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions within established guidelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Nice to have

• At least one year of experience in collections, accounts receivable, customer service, banking, finance, or a related field.
• Automotive finance, dealership, or ancillary product experience.
