Accounts Receivable Analyst (Automotive)

Location: United States, Remote; role description also references Chicago, Illinois.

Salary: $41,500–$49,800 per year

What you will do

• Review and analyze more than 1,250 dealer customer accounts and conduct collection inquiries by phone and email.
• Research billing discrepancies and resolve issues through cancellations, credits, payment applications, and debt write-offs when necessary.
• Communicate professionally with customers to identify the root causes of collection issues.
• Work with Sales and other departments to escalate issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Document all account contacts and meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly collection goals.
• Prepare credits and billing corrections in line with company guidelines.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of related work experience preferred.
• Four-year college degree.
• General knowledge of accounts receivable, account trends, credit risk, and collections.
• Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Experience or ability to learn systems used to document collection efforts, including Salesforce and PeopleSoft.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
