What you will do

• Lead production stability efforts and identify measures to improve application availability and support-service delivery.
• Track and manage incidents, changes, and problems for assigned applications, including SLA risks and stakeholder updates.
• Troubleshoot production issues through monitoring and log analysis, coordinate root-cause analysis, and support efficient resolution.
• Collaborate with application development, project, operations, vendor, and offshore managed-services teams on prioritization, fixes, releases, and continuous improvement.
• Support systems projects through planning, status reporting, specifications, implementation, audit compliance, change control, and data security.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours support, including weekends, for high and critical production issues.

Requirements

• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• College or university degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 6–8 years of proven relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services such as AKS, App Services, Functions, Key Vault, App Configuration, APIM, Cosmos DB, Databricks, or related platforms.
• Experience with scripting or programming languages including Python, Bash, Java, or similar.
• Knowledge of SQL Server, REST APIs, GitHub, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, and Agile methodology.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across development, operations, vendors, and support teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with EventHub, Service Bus, Kafka or Confluent, and analytics platforms.
• Experience integrating MQ, Solace, XML, Excel, and unstructured data into staging or warehouse tables.
• Understanding of dimensional data modeling, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Financial-sector experience and related industry qualifications.
