Associate IT Support Specialist

Location: Houston, TX; in-office five days a week

Base annual salary: $75,000–$105,000 USD, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and prepare office networking, conferencing, AV equipment, workstations, devices, and peripherals.
• Support new-hire onboarding by setting up devices, first-time logins, and equipment distribution.
• Provide responsive end-user support and resolve Windows, macOS, hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Deploy software and security patches, perform endpoint imaging, and manage inventory.
• Troubleshoot identity and access issues involving SSO, SAML, and SCIM.
• Develop scalable remediations and automations, maintain knowledge-base documentation, and assist with T1/T2 incidents involving Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and AD/MDM.

Requirements

• Three years of experience in IT support.
• Hands-on experience resolving Windows and Mac hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Experience with some of the following: call center software, SSO, MDM, PowerShell, Bash, Google Workspace, Azure, OS imaging, Windows, and macOS.
• Ability to investigate root causes, explain complex technical issues, and prevent recurring problems.
• Experience with or strong motivation to learn scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Ability to work in the Houston office five days a week.
