Vice President - General Aviation Claims (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead technical claims management across the North American general aviation portfolio, including Hull, Light Aviation, and Vertical claims.
• Manage approximately eight claims adjusters located throughout the United States and serve as a technical referral point for North American Aerospace Claims.
• Oversee reserving, payments, settlements, complex aircraft damage claims, litigation coordination, and major loss and catastrophe reporting.
• Identify loss trends, lessons learned, total-cost-of-claim opportunities, and risk management improvements.
• Build relationships with underwriting, actuarial, finance, reinsurance, legal, customers, and brokers while supporting account management and new business development.
• Develop team capability through training, recruiting, best-practice improvements, and industry thought leadership.

Requirements

• Proven leadership and personnel management skills.
• Extensive Aerospace general aviation claim management experience.
• Strong technical capability in managing Aerospace claims and adjusting complex aircraft damage claims.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and influence stakeholders across North America and multiple functions.
• Established positive reputation and market presence in Aerospace Insurance claim management.
• Ability to manage and minimize the total cost of Aerospace claims.
