Vice President - P&C Claims

Location: Hybrid work schedule required out of any EPIC office in California; independent travel to clients and some air travel may be required.

Salary: $175,000–$210,000 annual base pay, excluding bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop long-range claims objectives, strategies, and operational plans.
• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle property and casualty claims within designated authority levels.
• Resolve complex and severe exposure claims while maintaining high service standards.
• Supervise claims adjusters and manage Claims Advocates, Claims Consultants, and administrative personnel.
• Adjust claim reserves or provide reserve recommendations in line with corporate policies.
• Collaborate with counsel on litigated claims and conduct detailed bill reviews to control litigation expenses.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of brokerage claims experience.
• Knowledge of P&C coverages, policy forms, and brokerage claims customer service.
• Valid P&C Property Casualty Broker-Agent License.
• Juris Doctor of Law degree required.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet navigation.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions, solve problems, and interact with a wide range of people.
