Press Operator Second/Third Shift - Additional $3.00/hour for Third Shift

Location: Oberlin, Ohio, United States; onsite, second or third shift

Compensation: $22–$27 per hour, plus an additional $3.00 per hour for third shift. The posting also lists a current hourly rate of $19.50–$21.00 plus applicable shift differential.

What you will do

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain Man-Roland sheetfed press equipment.
• Run four-color 2/2 sheetfed presses while maintaining accurate color density and print quality.
• Cross-train and support flexographic printing operations as needed.
• Complete make-ready tasks, including plate or cylinder installation, blanket preparation, and register and tension adjustments.
• Perform press checks, routine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
• Work reliably with the production team across assigned shifts.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating and maintaining Man-Roland sheetfed presses.
• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials, equipment, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Ability to read job specifications and determine suitable press settings and materials.
• Ability to make precise control settings and operational adjustments.
• Experience with routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
• Ability to use a micrometer to mount and align printing plates correctly.
