Press Operator-3rd Shift (Printing)

Location: Townsend, Massachusetts, United States. On-site, third shift, Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

Compensation: $22.00–$23.00 per hour, plus eligibility for an annual performance incentive plan.

What you will do

• Operate and manually set up multi-color sheet-fed and high-speed continuous/web presses, including GTO, Ricoh, and DCOP presses.
• Complete press setups and changeovers by selecting stock, configuring the paper path, mounting plates, mixing PMS ink, registering dies, and setting press attributes such as perforations, numbering, and file holes.
• Run orders according to specifications for ink density, ink and water balance, color matching, size, construction, and required attributes.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance to maintain product quality.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and adjust equipment, including blankets, washing-up units, water systems, and rollers.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• At least two years of manufacturing or printing experience, preferably including printing press experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge of printing processes and press operation.
