Production and Maintenance Technician Apprentice (Manufacturing)

Location: Chestnut Hill, Tennessee, USA; onsite role. The position follows 12-hour rotating shifts, 4 days on and 4 days off, with overtime and weekend work required.

Pay rate: $31.87 per hour

What you will do

• Complete training from Production Associate to Assembly Mechanic.
• Operate, adjust, inspect, and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Perform quality checks on in-process and finished products.
• Repair unplanned breakdowns and complete monthly preventive maintenance.
• Record production figures, machine performance, efficiency, maintenance, quality, and spoilage data.
• Maintain tools, complete housekeeping duties, and document tasks in paper and computer systems.

Requirements

• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment in an industrial or military environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks on rotating off-shift schedules.
• Ability to work with mechanical lifts and ladders, kneel, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Teamwork and root-cause problem-solving mindset.
• PLC troubleshooting, industrial controls, and motor controls experience is beneficial but not required.
