Senior Project Manager (Railway)

Location: Pueblo, Colorado, United States; travel up to 10% and on-site work on railroad properties may be required.

Salary: $91,353.60–$140,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Manage engineering, testing, research, and training projects for the railway industry.
• Oversee rolling stock, vehicle and track component, signal, communications, ergonomics, and human-factors evaluations.
• Write test plans, test reports, briefings, and project price quotes.
• Coordinate logistics and on-site activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage project teams, work assignments, budgets, invoices, administrative activities, and project profit and loss.

Requirements

• BS degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience, including experience in the railroad industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a diverse interdisciplinary team.
• Pass an e-RAILSAFE security background check and online railroad safety tests.
• Ability to safely climb a 15-foot ladder and wear required protective equipment on railroad properties.
