Rail Project Manager (Rail Engineering)

Location: Lawrence Township, New Jersey; hybrid role based in New Jersey offices

Salary: $172,102.32–$196,688.36 per year

What you will do

• Plan and oversee complete rail project execution, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, communications, procurement, resources, and risk.
• Monitor staffing, budgets, expenditures, cash flow, and project performance to support fiscal responsibility and profitability.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruption.
• Build relationships with current and prospective rail clients and develop tailored solutions.
• Represent hirify.global at rail industry events and collaborate with engineering, business development, and marketing stakeholders.
• Supervise, develop, and evaluate project personnel while supporting continuous improvement and technical knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, structural engineering, or a related field.
• NJ Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 15+ years of experience in rail project management and business development.
• Strong knowledge of rail engineering principles, standards, and practices.
• Experience with proposal development, bid management, and contract negotiation.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and client relationship skills; willingness to travel as required.
