TL;DR

Location: Onsite in Minneapolis, United States; work supports office, laboratory, and manufacturing activities.

Salary: $100,800–$165,600 per year.

What you will do

  • Lead process-engineering support for prioritized technical gaps across reagent manufacturing operations.
  • Evaluate materials, equipment, scale, process parameters, operating methods, variation, and process outputs to improve process capability.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for reagent preparation, liquid handling and transfer, mixing, formulation, and filtration.
  • Define process and user requirements and support equipment selection, sizing, testing, commissioning, and qualification.
  • Lead technical assessments, engineering studies, root-cause investigations, and sustainable corrective actions.
  • Support manufacturing readiness for new or modified products, processes, equipment, and scale in collaboration with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Facilities, and Automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; chemical or biochemical engineering preferred.
  • At least 3 years of relevant process-engineering experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, reagent, or diagnostic manufacturing; 5+ years preferred.
  • Experience with liquid-processing operations such as mixing, formulation, filtration, liquid handling, or liquid transfer.
  • Experience with equipment selection, process requirements, commissioning, qualification, or equipment troubleshooting.
  • Strong process-engineering, structured problem-solving, root-cause-analysis, communication, and technical documentation skills.
  • Work authorization must not now or in the future require visa sponsorship in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Experience in regulated or controlled quality systems.
  • Experience introducing or significantly modifying manufacturing processes or equipment.
  • Exposure to cell culture, purification, or other biological manufacturing processes.
