Process/Manufacturing Senior Manager, Engineering (Bioprocessing)

Location: Rancho Dominguez, California, United States

Salary: $180,000–$225,000 per year, plus potential bonus, commission, and equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead, develop, and mentor the Process and Manufacturing Engineering team.
• Provide technical leadership for filtration and single-use manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.
• Drive process optimization, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, yield improvement, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
• Lead new product introductions, technology transfers, process validations, and lifecycle management.
• Manage capital projects, equipment installations, facility modifications, and capacity expansion from concept through implementation.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Facilities, R&D, EHS, and the Global Engineering Network on manufacturing performance and growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of engineering experience, including 5 years of leadership experience in life sciences, biopharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading manufacturing engineering, process engineering, technology transfer, operational excellence, and capital project initiatives in regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, quality systems, validation, and regulatory requirements, including ISO and/or GMP environments.
• Experience managing technical teams and influencing cross-functional and global organizations.
• Role is based in the United States at the Rancho Dominguez facility.

• Advanced degree such as an MS or MBA.
