Strategy & Operations Manager (Fintech)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States

Base annual salary: $110,000–$170,000 USD, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead high-priority initiatives from ideation and assessment through implementation and measurable impact.
• Identify and evaluate growth opportunities, process improvements, and customer experience enhancements.
• Conduct financial and strategic analyses to prioritize business opportunities.
• Manage an operational improvement roadmap focused on reducing risk, increasing efficiency, and unlocking new capabilities.
• Collaborate across departments and business units to implement impactful solutions.
• Build and maintain operational dashboards and reporting tools for performance tracking, metrics, and KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA is a plus.
• 4+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategy, or a high-growth startup.
• Experience executing strategic and operational initiatives with measurable results.
• Strong financial and business fundamentals, analytical ability, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience building financial models.
• Proactive, hands-on approach, strong communication skills, adaptability, and willingness to travel occasionally.
