US Strategy and Deals Commercial Due Diligence and Strategy Associate and Senior Associate (Fintech)

Salary: $105,000–$195,000 annually, plus variable and non-variable benefits.

What you will do

• Lead or support workstreams on commercial due diligence and corporate strategy projects, including market sizing, competitor benchmarking, and customer and expert research.
• Analyse market data, financials, interviews, surveys, business plans, and revenue forecasts to develop actionable insights.
• Structure complex client questions into hypothesis-led analyses and create client-ready storylines and presentations.
• Present findings and conclusions to clients, management teams, investment professionals, and external experts.
• Collaborate across teams, functions, and geographies while contributing to proposals, thought leadership, and internal knowledge development.
• Supervise and coach junior colleagues; Senior Associates take greater ownership of workstreams and client delivery.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in commercial due diligence, strategy consulting, or in-house strategy with a strong analytical component.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and experience researching markets, companies, and competitors.
• Ability to structure ambiguous questions and turn complex analysis into clear conclusions and persuasive presentations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
• Collaborative working style, willingness to support junior colleagues, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Associate candidates typically have 1.5+ years of relevant experience; Senior Associate candidates typically have 3+ years.

Nice to have

• Financial Services experience, particularly in asset management, wealth management, insurance, or fintech.
• Preference for a focus on commercial due diligence or corporate strategy, communicated early in the process.
