Implementation Consultant

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; on-site

Salary: $105,000–$115,000 per year, including base salary and a portion of variable compensation tied to company and individual performance.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end implementation projects, including requirements gathering, technical platform configuration, administrator training, and deployment support.
• Act as the primary technical contact for customers implementing or expanding hirify.global solutions.
• Guide government officials and staff through implementation and help them become effective software administrators.
• Analyze customer requirements and pain points, collaborating with cross-functional teams to simplify, enhance, and automate workflows.
• Build expertise in governmental processes across multiple states and develop implementation best practices for different data environments and customer verticals.
• Collect customer feedback and feature requests, support sales scoping, and provide insights to product and delivery teams.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant public-sector experience in procurement, budgeting, community development, asset management, finance/accounting, or a similar area.
• At least 2 years of experience in software implementation consulting or equivalent work with external clients.
• Experience analyzing and reporting large volumes of financial or other relevant data, with knowledge of governmental concepts and practices.
• Ability to train customers on software solutions, provide clear phone support, and recommend solutions for business workflows.
• Advanced Excel skills, including functions and formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data formatting, error checking, and report creation.
• Strong conceptualization, modeling, design, communication, teamwork, adaptability, and customer-service skills.
