Financial Analyst Senior

Location: Hybrid role requiring in-office work 1–2 days per week in Rocky Hill or Wallingford, Connecticut. Must reside in Connecticut and live within a reasonable commuting distance of the posting locations.

What you will do

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports for client contracts.
• Manage and forecast expenses supporting financial reports.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, trend analyses, and expense accruals.
• Provide information for monthly journal entries.
• Compile standard and ad hoc financial reports.
• Research financial performance, rates of return, depreciation, business improvement, and investment opportunities.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in accounting or finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in general accounting, financial planning, and management reporting, or an approved Finance internship.
• Strong budgeting and forecasting capabilities.
• Advanced Excel skills and a high degree of accuracy.
• Hyperion Essbase experience.
• Must reside in Connecticut and be able to commute to the designated office location.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, or CMA.
• 3–5 years of experience in budgeting and forecasting.
