Senior Professional Engineer / Project Manager, Civil (Airfield Infrastructure)

Location: Hybrid in Bloomington, Minnesota; candidates must reside within or be open to relocation to the greater Minneapolis–Saint Paul area. Travel up to 20% is required, including project-site visits and occasional overnight travel.

Salary: $106,625–$158,370 per year.

What you will do

• Lead design and planning for complex airfield and site development projects.
• Manage project scopes, schedules, financials, technical requirements, and project teams.
• Act as a technical expert and oversee design standards and quality control.
• Coach and mentor less experienced engineers and technical professionals.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, agencies, and project partners.
• Support business development through marketing plans, proposals, presentations, and opportunity tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration in at least one state.
• At least 10 years of design experience in aviation, transportation, site development, or municipal projects.
• At least 2 years of project management experience.
• Experience with roadways, utilities, site grading, drainage, stormwater management, plan sets, specifications, and construction cost estimates.
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship; a valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Nice to have

• Aviation, airfield, or airport infrastructure project experience.
• Experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or ArcGIS.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and procedures.
• Experience preparing proposals and contract documentation.
