What you will do
- Define and execute engineering strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead app development, deployment, project planning, release schedules, and delivery timelines.
- Build, scale, recruit, onboard, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering teams.
- Establish engineering processes, including QA and testing workflows, release management, incident response, and post-mortems.
- Guide architecture and design patterns while improving productivity, observability, security, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with product, business, and senior leadership stakeholders to prioritize work and remove technical and operational blockers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Experience with app development and deployment across multiple platforms.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, and project management practices.
- Experience with DevOps practices and familiarity with QA processes and tools.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Node, React, and APIs.
- Ability to lead team scaling, mentor engineers, manage multiple projects, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- AWS experience.
- GraphQL experience.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools and automation opportunities.
